BALLET SALY WELINGARA In 1986, Gnouna Doucare established an association that became the foundation of the group. Today, the ensemble brings together several dozen artists of various ages.

The group performs in Europe and the Middle East, and is always met with a very warm reception. The current leader of the ensemble is Babacar Mane.

The group collaborates with artists who are geniuses of rhythm and virtuoso performers of African drums. The ensemble presents original dances and songs characteristic of the cultures of West Africa and Senegal. The solo performances of musicians and dancers make a particularly strong impression.
