OwCoK Regional Ensemble of the Orawa Cultural Centre in Jabłonka
The OwCoK Regional Ensemble has been active at the Orawa Cultural Centre in Jabłonka since 2019, bringing together adult enthusiasts of Orawa folklore. The ensemble is made up of people who are passionately committed to preserving the traditions of their region through folk dance, singing, music, as well as traditional ritual performances and folk theatre.
In just a few years of activity, the ensemble has earned recognition at numerous prestigious festivals and competitions. Its achievements include the Grand Prix at the "Zagłębie i Sąsiedzi" Folklore Festival in Dąbrowa Górnicza, the Grand Prix at "Góralskie Dziedziny" in Ludźmierz, the Grand Prix at the National Folk Dance Competition in Rzeszów, and, in 2026, the Grand Prix at the 13th Orawa Theatre Gatherings (Posiady Teatralne na Orawie).
At the Festival of Mountain Regions, the ensemble showcases the rich cultural heritage of Orawa, presenting its authentic traditions, vibrant spirit, and the beauty of the region's folk culture.
