KUD “Ivan planina” Tarčin
The Cultural-Artistic Society “Ivan planina” Tarčin was founded in 1949 and has been actively preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than 75 years.
Throughout its long-standing work, the group has performed at numerous national and international folklore festivals, representing the tradition of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Turkey, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Northern Cyprus, and many other countries.
The society has a rich collection of traditional costumes and is dedicated to preserving traditional dances, songs, and customs of all peoples of Bosnia and Herzegovina. KUD “Ivan planina” is also the organizer of the cultural event “Tarčinske ljetne večeri”, one of the most visited cultural and folklore manifestations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
